FREEDOM

Freedom

One day i am free again

free to walk the streets and run

no more keys and rooms of shame

for freedom is my new game

Il walk the streets and alleyways

see the sun come up each day

gather in the harvest

in the fields of lambs il play

free to drink my Guinness

on the sidewalks and the rain

free to laugh and walk the streets

to be a man again

Freedom knows no barriers

the choice is mine alone

free to wallow in my country

free to be alone

Il gather in my harvest

pick berries on a bush

walk the trails of fun and laughter

no more rules set by a book

I'm a man and not a number

with feelings and a voice

I'm free to walk the streets at last

free to make my choice.

"Freedom is not the right to live as we please, but the right to find how we ought to live in order to fulfill our potential".

Ralph Waldo Emerson(1803-1882)

The word Freedom means so much to us all and covers such a wide area of our lives.

Theres the freedom of the individual along with the freedom of cultures and religions.

Theres the freedom of speech, freedom of children, free thinkers, writers and journalists and artists of music and poetry.

On this page I present a variety of formats and individuals who have stood for freedom and free speech.

Making a profound impression on our society and how we can hopefully think out of the box.
