The Theme of this website is the emphasis on Freedom.
The Freedom of the Gypsy,Children's Play,the pen and the Dorset countryside.
My purpose in creating this website was to provide a format/platform for all of my numerous poems to be displayed.
As well as to highlight my interest in local history and to the life of the Gypsy people who frequented this terrain for decades.
This website provide a wealth of material on the subject of children's play.

I have purposely chosen these particular areas of interest based largely on my own knowledge and experience.
As a child I grew up on the Canford 
estate at the mannings farm
and in later years in Wareham
Dorset.
Childhood Days.
I spent many decades in the field of children's play provision in the UK which are recorded here 
I have often been regarded by many as being a bit of a Gypsy.
As portrayed in many of my poems as well as of local Dorset life and characters.
The material on this site comes from a variety of sources along with my own knowledge and experience.
The many pictures and Gifs I have used in this website comes in the main taken from free Gif websites freely available on the web and friends and acquaintances as well as my wife's Brenda's own photo albums.
.Should anyone find I have inadvertently used a Gif or pic belonging to them without permission please let me know and I will remove it forthwith.
